The E-Ring on the Shaft has already been installed for versions shipped post 12/5, therefore installation of the E-Ring is unnecessary. Please take caution, that the spring tension is reversed (as opposed to other company¡Çs dust covers), furthermore due to the position of the spring there is a possibility that scratches may occur on both the dust cover and/or the frame. You may choose to cover that area with black electrical tape to protect those areas.

The area that might be difficult (perhaps troublesome) would be to have the Gas Pipe pass through allowing for all of the other parts to align correctly. When re-installing the Delta Ring, be sure to align the E-Ring and the WellSpring with the marking earlier. Once they align, secure the Delta Ring (while securing the Ring the WellSpring might move, in which case you can reposition while securing). In this procedure, the Gas Pipe can pass through, although some misalignment can occur adjustments can be made to right that, furthermore the adjustments to the E-Ring of the Slip Ring can be done easily with an E-Ring Plier. Although you can aquire the Barrel Wrench from MGC, there are minute differences in size, hence we recommend Barrel Wrenches used for Real Steel applications.

What is important is that after the Delta Ring is secured everything should align to which the hand guards can fit properly. With the Delta Ring secured the (Gas Pipe aligns with the groove) put together both upper and lower handguards, of course since the Hand Guard Cap is not secured the Handguards will not fit snugly however by putting the handguard together you can align the upper handguard with the upper reciever rails. At this point you can make minor adjustments to the angle of the handguard, in an extreme case, you would be able to use the handguards in the place of the barrel wrench, by placing the handguard onto the Delta Ring and turning the handguard you will not need to use too much strength.

When inserting the Gas Pipe into the Site Post, the Gas Pipe Retaining Pin is slightly larger than the entry hole. Therefore, if you use a 2.5mm drill or a pin vise to slightly enlarge the hole it will enter with very little effort. Furthermore, the Gas Pipe will need caution when installing it vertically. If it does not seat right, you may have to re-do this procedure. The retaining pin is slightly shorter, therefore it is not necessary to push the pin through to the other side.

As written on the instruction manual, when installing the Front Site Post onto the Outer Barrel be sure to install the Hand Guard Cap. When passing the Front Site Post through the Outer Barrel you may experience some abrasion (scratches) while sliding it thorugh. If you do not wish that on your Barrel we recommend that you use a file to take out any sharp edges on the Post and apply a light coat of grease prior to installation.

When securing the Site Post from the underside the M4 torx screw may be screwed in an angle, therefore take caution to keep the screw straight and temporarily secure the Site Post then secure the carry handle and proceed to adjust the Site Post¡Çs Front Site with the Carry Handle¡Çs Rear Site. If it were realized later that it does not align, without removing the Swivel Ring it would not be possible to either loosen or tighten the torx screw later on. The Front Site Knock Pin is very precise (unlike from other companies), therefore it is possible to push the pin with your finger to secure the Knock Pin (in most cases).

Please take caution to secure the set pin in the correct position. Installation of the Set Pin is done from the Stock Side pointing towards the barrel. As the Installation Manual states, when making shim adjustments to not use the O-Ring although as long as you are careful not to damage the O-Ring, you can use the O-Ring with the Shim once the Shim is in place. In this particular case, we took out one thin shim and it fit well. Once the O-Ring was installed we used the back end of a wrench and hooked that through the hole in the middle of the Stock Cap to remove the Cap. Please take caution when using this method that you do not damage the Cap.

There is enough room to fit the device, however the Switch Device is particularly expensive we recommend care when performing this procedure. The wiring is securely soldered onto the device so some degree of play is acceptable, but we would not recommend too much handling of this part.

It goes without saying to follow the instruction manual, however please pay particular attention to the posture of the wiring that comes out of the buffer tube. From ­¥ you can trace the motor cord that is soldered to the Device. We recommend running simulation of the wiring with the positive and negative wires in respect to the lines that passes through the lower receiver and through the holes alloted in the grip area. The longer cord should be positive, so we recommend (after confirming) to mark the wire red (using a magic marker).

Please refer to the image for the soldering procedure. In the Kit the Motor Brush and the Brush Spring has been incorporated, however in order to properly apply solder to the Motor you will need to remove these parts. In the event that you do not remove these components and you apply the solder to the connector (onto the Motor) there is a potential that residual flux or solder will travel through the Brush and the Brush Spring directly to the Copper Wiring. The result of which may cause loss of power or motor seizure. Please keep the Motor Brush as well as the Brush Spring clear of dirt and grease as these may cause carbon buildup that will decrease the Motor¡Çs power and will lead to premature failure. The wires that lead from the Switch Device to the Motor are thick, therefore crossing the lines that leads throught the magnet portion of the brush case is not possible. Please think it through carefully on how to pass the positive and negative lines through the grip (without crossing the lines).

When inserting the Grip End it may seem difficult, however it is not impossible to fit it through. There is a potential that the wiring could sever in this process, therefore if it feels too difficult to properly close we recommend removing the Grip End and confirming that there are no protrusions impeding the closure of the Grip End. The Grip End uses 4 screws that requires an even level of torque (to each screw) to lock into place. The rotor adjust screw should be left as is and should not be adjusted. During test firing if you notice an unusual sound eminating from the motor or if the gears have an unusual pitch we recommend making adjustments at that time.
